Suggest Remedy For Itching In The Anal Region Of Males
My husband s butthole itches, usually just when sitting and especially at night when sleeping, which causes him to not get much sleep. He has been to the doctor, no worms, no hemorrhoids. Use a natural laundry soap, Dove white soap in the shower, Charmin TP, non scented baby wipes, cortizone cream. Not sure what to do. Can t get into the doctor until the beginning of March. Would like some suggestions for now.

Itching on the buttocks can be due to fungal infection or skin dermatosis.

Is there presence of any rash on the buttocks?
A rash may be present in cases of both fungal infection and skin dermatosis.
Fungal infection is more common if the skin is wet and not kept dry.
If fungal infection is not diagnoses clinically, other skin dermatosis like diaper rash, contact dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, eczema, seborrhic dermatosis etc.
A clinical assessment is mandatory for definitive diagnosis and thus treatment.
