hello doctor i would like to ask about my daughter who is 11 yrs old and diagnosed cong. hypothyroidism since the age of 5 months at pgi chd. her eltroxin was contd since then and titrated to 75 micr. gms. at present, no other medicine is given, her problem is earely menarche at the age of 11 yrs, her cycle is 2--3 months/ 8 --10 days at present she is under cycle and menorragia, 6( 6 th day is going with heavy bleed. what shoul I do.pl. reply earely thanks.

Hi,

Hypothyroidism by itself can cause heavy bleeding like this.
I suggest you get her evaluated for appropriate control of Hypothyroidism.
If that is normal - I suggest you get her evaluated by a gynecologist.
