I have a red mole on my chest that has been there forever. Several months ago, I noticed that it seemed to have some swelling or a lump underneath it. I figured it was some kind of inflammation and would go away. The lump is still there, although it does not hurt, itch, or look very bad at all. Does this sound like something to worry about?
The possible diagnosis of the condition based on the description of the lesions is cherry angiomas or Campbell de Morgen spots. They are benign proliferation of blood vessels and they require no treatment.
