Suggest Remedy For Hip Bruise Post Injury

my father has cancer and fell four days ago. after emt came he refused to go to hospital. now his hip is extremely bruised and hard for him to walk. But the problem is he is talking out of his head and seeing things that are not there and has no memory of who anyone is.is it possible he broke his hip and bone marrow is posing his blood stream

Thank you for the query. I understand your concern.
It seems your father also had some injury to head also along with hip injury when he fell down. His irrelevant talks/ loss of memory does suggest some brain problem( due to hit on head/ degenerative changes due to age or his disease.
* So he needs a detailed physical examination along with X ray of hip to exclude fracture followed by specific treatment .
Home management till you see the doctor.consists of rest/ cold pack/ NSAID pills for control of pain.
* He needs admission & observation for head injury with EEG if advised/ X ray skull .. to ascertain the extent of problem.. followed by treatment by a nuro physician
