General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the MGUS is monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance. When asymptomatic, MGUS does not require treatment, however, following symptoms may warrant a consultant to begin therapy.
- Bone pain
- Weight loss
- Anemia
- Persistent fatigue
- Bleeding
- Night sweats, fever
- Enlarging lymph nodes, liver, spleen
- Others

The therapy is aimed at restoring bone mass with Alendronate or other similar substances after due clinical considerations and explaining pros and cons of the same to patient.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
