my child of six months having fever from last sunday. initially doctor has suggested crocin syrup then amoxicylin with crocin with no improvement in temperature which is hovering around 102 today doctor has suggested meftal after two hours of one shot of meftal till no improvement in temperature what to do now

You have also not mentioned whether the baby is still exclusively breast fed or whether he/she is feeding well. Most of such fevers are viral. Since you are already giving antibiotics, I would suggest you to wait and see if the fever comes down. If the baby is not feeding well, it might be better to hospitalise the child. Meftal contains Mefenamic Acid which is prescribed for stopping bleeding.
