Suggest Remedy For High Fever

My son is 10. Had a fever of 102 on Monday with sinus drainage and light productive cough. Fever stayed low grade for until tonight. He is at 104, should I take him to the ER or just keep alternating tylenol and ibuprofen as it does bring down temp and see dr in the morning

Hi,
At present, you need to continue tynelol and also do cold sponging of the child. Any viral fever takes time to subside. You need to give adequate fluids to the child and complete bed rest. You can go to er tomorrow. I hope this has helped you.
