Suggest Remedy For High Bp

Hi, This is Krishna, 29years old. I have a bp of 150/100. I did a complete body checkup including Treadmill test, Echo test, Abdomen ultrasound, lipid profile, etc. Everything is normal except lipid profile. My total cholesterol is 230. I am taking Telma 40mg. I have a family history of high bp. What would be the reason for my high bp? Please advice next steps.

High blood pressure in your case is due elevated levels of blood lipids.This can predispose to premature atherosclerosis leading to hardening of blood vessels and elevated blood pressures.Reduction of blood lipids though fat free diet and regular physical activity can lead improve the blood pressure.Drugs particularly called statins can lead to prompt reduction of blood cholesterol.Telmisartan can lead to reduction of blood pressure.Consult your cardiologist for further queries.
