Hi,
If your sister is hyperthyroid, she should not take thyroxine.Increased heart rate and breathing difficulty suggest overactivity thyroid. Please stop her medicine and report to your physician with fresh thyroid profile after 2 weeks. Also tell her to exercise 30 minutes daily 5 times a week ,no added salt, eat vegetables, quit if smoking.
Hope you are satisfied.
Take care
