Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My wife has been a had a slight head ache for the past 24 hours. Her blood pressure is normally a bit low but seems lower today at 94 over 57 pulse of 59. She is 53 and normally in good health. What would be considered too low.. She also has low energy .
The lower limit of blood pressure is normally 90/60 mmHg. Some persons may have blood pressures slightly lower than this as their normal and have no symptoms.
Some persons may have symptoms of low blood pressure at values higher than this because they are used to higher blood pressures.
If this blood pressure is lower than her normal, and she is having related symptoms then it is too low for her. Using fluids and a small amount of salt can bring it up.
I hope this helps
