General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The hard, red painful lump at the site of tick bite is indicative of cellulitis most likely. Following measures will help you early recovery:
- Local application of ice
- Cream containing hydrocortisone or beclomethasone
- Antibiotics such as Penicillin as Amoxicillin with Clavulanic acid, Cephalexin or others
- Avoid sexual intercourse if active
- Hygiene care of vagina with Betadine douching
- Anti-inflammatory drugs such as Diclofenac or Ibuprofen

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
