Suggest Remedy For Hard Bumps In Ear

My husband has hard bumps behind his ears and on the back part of his ear lobe that won't go away!... every now and then they'll drain some smelly liquidy pus and blood, I've tried popping them some times as well, but most of the time nothing comes out!... they are pretty big (pea-sizes aprox.). Any idea what they may be??

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

If you post photo of swelling than I can give you more comment on that. You have mentioned pus coming out from it so antibiotic course like Cefixime can be prescribed for five days. Pus should be drained and if needed incision and drainage can be done. If inflammation present than anti inflammatory drug prescribed. Consult otorhinolaryngologist for examination.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
