The most probable diagnosis of the condition based on the description of the lesions is telogen effluvium which is a disorder characterised by hair fall following stressful illness or surgery. It has a good prognosis and hair regrow to its normal level.Topical minoxidil in 5 percent concentration can be used along with oral biotin preparations. Consult your dermatologist regarding the above mentioned therapy. Regards
