Suggest Remedy For Hair Thinning
I had aneurisum repair of the ascending aorta on April 28...I am currently taking xeralto, metoropol, a water pill, potassium.....all new to me since my surgery.....In the last few weeks I have noticed my hair is thinning and I am trying to decide which medicine is causing this problem....Do you have an answer? The most probable diagnosis of the condition based on the description of the lesions is telogen effluvium which is a disorder characterised by hair fall following stressful illness or surgery. It has a good prognosis and hair regrow to its normal level.Topical minoxidil in 5 percent concentration can be used along with oral biotin preparations. Consult your dermatologist regarding the above mentioned therapy. Regards
