Suggest Remedy For Grumbling In Stomach And Splotchy Coloring On Legs

Hi! have a colonoscopy tomorrow. It s 10:15 and I began movieprep at 4:15. I m almost finished with my second liter but haven t gone yet. There s grumbling but no action. I ve got splotchy, mottled coloring on my legs that s not normally. I m bleeding a lot as well because of perimenipause and that s also causing cramping. Should I be concerned? I talk no meds, no alcohol, no tobacco, no family histories of anything other than alcoholism.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
The bluish discolouration of the veins could be due to a phenomenon called deep vein thrombosis and is likely to be unrelated to drinking more water, rather it may have connections with your excessive bleeding. Excessive bleeding may give rise to subsequent small clots called thrombi which may cause blockage of veins of the legs and cause the symptoms that you are mentioning. There is cause for concern. Please get in touch with a doctor and get it examined.
