my husband fell 12 ft off a ladder today head first into the ground his ct was clear but has a compound fracture in his wrist and is awaiting surgery tomorrow morning. My question is when the ambulance came his bp was 208/110 and went down this afternoon and was 148/98 and now its spiked again tonight to 170/? whats causing that

hi..welcome to hcm..Rise in blood pressure in your husband s case is related to trauma and there may be chance of any internal bleeding..He may need increase in anti hypertensive dose.Also get an MRI brain if his conscious levels are decreasing.thankyou
