Noted the history of suffering from diabetes and kidney disease, now have flu, diarrhea and vomiting, pain in left side of stomach. stye in one of the eyes, got settled except for pain in the abdomen on the left side. The most probable cause is obviously the flu causing all the symptoms, most probably stomach bug too. But the bacterial infection has to be confirmed or ruled out by a stool and blood test. If positive for bacterial infection, get a course of an antibiotic, metronidazole and antispasmodic like Buscopan or so om. Continue treatment for fibromyalgia and high blood pressure as before. Fibromyalgia is suggestive of some stress and anxiety, get this too treated.
