Suggest Remedy For Fever, Chills, Vomiting, Diarrhea And Hives In Elderly

Big question. Woke last Sun fever, chills, vomiting bile, diarrhea, woke with hives even palms of hands. This soon was rash all over. I now also noticed I have cellulitis in my left lower extremitiy. My tongue us swollen and my throat hurts. I see my regular doc Tues p.m. Now I have thrush. She put me on high dose augmentin and steroids. I have too many health issues to list here. I am not a weinie but I am about ready to throw in the towel. Help? I am a 70 year old female.

Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. Reduced immunity is the main cause.
2. Need to be on high dose augmentin and steroids.
3. Antifungal is also necessary.
4. Improvement in immunity through protein rich diet. Need to avoid further infections. Detailed workup of hemogram, Immunoglobulin levels and liver function tests necessary for further evaluation. Stool culture and blood culture is necessary for sensitivity evaluation of antibiotics.
