Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.

As per your complain it seems that there are sharp elevations over the tissue surface of denture causing trauma to the mucosa over the bone and making it painful..
Nothing to worry, consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated so that he can do necessary manipulations in your denture and also trim the sharp elevations for relief.
Gargle with a numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine will relieve from pain.
You can also apply numbing gel like Lignocaine over the sore areas.
You can also take Ibuprofen for reducing pain and inflammation...
Cold water rinses will also help in reducing inflammation and relieving soreness and pain..
Avoid wearing the denture until it is corrected as well as limit wearing after that also till your mucosa is relieved.

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
