Suggest Remedy For Ear Aches, Fever And Dry Heaving Before A Colonoscopy

I am supposed to have a colonoscopy tomorrow due to a higher level of calprotectin, I am on a liquid diet today and last night when I finally got hungry (I have had trouble eating lately) my stomach began to feel bloated and it was hard to breath. I grabbed a sunkist and took a little sip followed by some gold fish and I could like feel the acid hit my stomach. My stomach has felt like this sent, it still feels bloated, I feel kind of confused at work (it takes me a minute to process what I m doing) I have been dry heaving also. I also just got an IUD in last Monday and have been bleeding sense. I also had a slight ear ache monday followed with a fever. I felt a little feverish today but nothing to bad.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your appointment for colonoscopy for high calprotectin.
You have varied symptoms. Heaves, bloating, acid in stomach and mouth.
All these things indicate that you might have either of the following:
Intestinal infection
Allergic reaction to something may be out of the feeds or beverages you have taken.
The heaves can cause the Eustachian tubes to open and cause earaches.
I would advise you the following:
Go to ER as there may be needs for clinical evaluation, investigations like standing X-ray of the abdomen, ultrasonography of the abdomen, tests of blood, urine and stool.
This will give the probable diagnosis and treatment and you should be fit before undergoing colonoscopy.
