Hello,

I understand our concern for the dryness in palms.

After reading your query it appears that you have got "Xerosis" of the palms due to less activity of sweat glands. To explain you simply: our skin contains both oil and sweat glands but on palms there are only sweat glands.

So if these sweat glands are less active then it causes less moisture and therefore dryness of palms.

In my patients of your kind of condition I recommend to apply a lot of moisturizing cream containing good amount moisturizing factors and bland hydrating factors.

Your condition id not at all contagious so do not worry.

All the best.
