Suggest Remedy For Dry, Flaky Skin And Small Spots On Elbows

On my elbows I have dry flaky skin and some small spots. My left elbow looks worse than my right, red area where the spots are and feels quite rough and dry. I ve had this for about 3 months now, I have tried moisturizer but that didn t work just made it sting. What is it and what can I do?

Pressure points like that when come in contact with frequent friction, symptoms may manifest like that. But you have mentioned flaky, red and spots. It seems not normal dryness created by friction and lesser care of skin.

It would be prudent to visit some skin doctor in your area to get it checked to exclude any chances of psoriasis or eczematous inflammation etc.
