Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of dry cough, sore throat, and difficulty in breathing which seems to be due to chest infection/ chronic upper respiratory tract infection and formation of lump like feel is due to swollen lymph node/tonsils. Need not to worry. Avoid oily and sharp food. Drink plenty of fluids. Apply mist humidifiers in room. I would suggest you to do warm saline gargles. You should visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. You should get paranasal sinus x-ray done along with throat swab test and blood tests and start treatment after proper diagnosis. You should get pulmonary function test done. Take proper course of antibiotics.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
