Suggest Remedy For Discomfort In The Wrist

Hi,
On Sunday I fell while ice skating with my hand twisted. It had swelling at my wrist, no bruising at all. It has been painful but not very bad when I make my usual movements. I could say that the pain has subsidized a lot, the swelling is almost completely gone but I still feel the discomfort when I bend or twist at my wrist. I had an x-ray in ER, the dr said that there are no fractures, but possible pulled muscles or ligaments. I have been wearing the elastic bandage , had ice on & off the first day, and after cabbage leaves at night. Should I have further assessment with a specialist or I should wait to heal by itself?
Thank you!
Ann
