Pediatrician 's  Response
Don't use walker at all.
1. With walker kids learn to walk bypassing crawling. Crawling is an essential thigh muscle exercise. Child is left with poorer thigh muscle mass if they don't crawl.
2.These walkers have a very high accident rate.
3. Leave him tummy down on floor. Put toys etc a little away. Ask to take it. Make it a fun activity. Initially he will crawl on tummy ,then on knees. Next should be pulling to stand on furniture .
Considering his history your child is doing well. But weight remains on lower end. in stead of more milk provide energy rich thick foods. take suggestions from your pediatrician.
