Suggest Remedy For Dark Pigmentation In Upper Lips
Hi I have read a previous question about betacream causing hair growth?I am using a mild steroid cream rural as have dark pigmentation on my upper lip. Will this cause hair growth? ease could you recommend something that I could use to get rid of this mark that won t cause any other issues as I am getting really down about it and hide my face constantly.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have dark pigmentation in upper lips which seems to be due to excessive exposure to sunlight leading to postinflammatory hyperpigmentation. It could be due to allergic reaction as well. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to start with antiinflammatory medication. Use cream containing kojic acid or azelaic acid , both are very good in treating dark complexion and safe for long term use. You should drink plenty of water to rehydrate body. Beside that apply broad spectrum sunscreen with SPF 15 to protect your skin from further darkening due to UV rays of sun. Apply topical antiallergic ointment as well and apply sunscreen rich in SPF 26 such as TANCARE. Visit dermatologist once and get it examined. Start treatment after proper prescription.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
