Suggest Remedy For Cough And Ear Ache

I recently had a pretty bad chest cold and thought I was over it. I went to the doctor and I was given cough medicine and antibiotics. Its been about a week since I went to the doctor and now I feel like the cold just moved to my head. My nose has not stopped running for the last 24 hours and I can't sleep at all since I can't breathe out of my nose, and breathing out of my mouth is making my throat dry and hurt. I also have been having ear aches. I'm still on the antibiotics, I've taken generic allergy medicine, and ibuprofen. I have to be at work in two hours, would it be wise to call out and go back to the doctor today? I'm at a loss at what to do to feel better

Hi,thank you for posting your query on health care magic.
Looking at your symptoms,you are suffering from inflammation in the Sinuses,Ear and throat due to inflammation in the nose.
You may find relief by taking following medicines:
Analgesic with Antiinflammatory like Ibuprofen,
Antacid like Rantac,
Antihistaminic like Cetrizine,
Oral Decongestant like Pseudoephedrine and Nasal Decongestant like Oxymetazoline(if not suffering from Hypertension),
Mucolytic like Ambroxol.

Avoid cold,spicy ,oily food.Take voice rest,Do steam inhalation.Drink lots of warm fluids.Avoid dust.Do warm saline Gargles.
