Suggest Remedy For Costochondritis

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...I have chest pain that has been diagnosed as costochondritis, and it seems to alternate from my right upper back to my left upper chest. I am seeing a physio today and would like a cortisone shot. Are they allowed to do this treatment or is that a GP job?

physiotherapists cannot give you cortisone shots. it is a steroid drug and you need to go to your gp for the same. is the pain so unbearable that u need a steroid shot? havr you tried NSAIDs like diclofenac
