Suggest Remedy For Congested Feeling On Head And Swollen Ankles
Hello. I am 68 incredibly fit, take long walks, eat healthily and don t drink. I weigh eight and a half stone (5 6 ). Aged 49 my BP went up so was put on Atenolol which suited me fine, my BP settled nicely and all was well. Last autumn I became very breathless so my GP took me off Atenolol and put me on Ramipril. My BP shot up and I developed an anxiety state where I couldn t sleep and lost weight. Now my GP has taken me off Ramipril, refuses to put me back on Atenolol and I have spent the last two weeks on Amlodipine. My BP has come down slightly 140/85 but my head feels congested and I have swollen ankles! I am also on Thyroxine but my levels have been checked recently and are fine. I am not stressed but could do with feeling right . I am still working and summer is my busy time!
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, here your Blood pressure is not the cause of your symptoms but this could be due to stress and anxiety, you have not mention your gender here, because such symptoms are very common in female, but this is nothing to worry, try to away from stress, and anxiety, no need to worry, everything would be okay, take care.
