Suggest Remedy For Chronic Acidity And Constipation Problems

I a 40 year old woman suffering from a chronic acidity problem since the past ten years, for which I have been taking razo-20 alternating with Rantac-150 for a long time now. When the problem intensifies, with vomiting and headaches, I take Omez DSR. However, the acid reflux has become very bad lately and I have got a bad cough which has lingered on for two months. Also, I have been suffering from chronic constipation. I have now been advised Nexium-40 by a doc with Sucrafil. Please advise whether that should suffice because it is not showing results.

Noted the history and understood your concerns.
Since the acidity problems is for a long time of 10 years in spite of Razo, Rantac, Omez DSR, it is necessary to find the cause which can be as follows:
Gastrinoma sort or a tumor in pancreas.
Chronic stomach condition.
Stress, anxiety are the most important reasons for persistent gastritis related problems.
Bile reflux into stomach is another reason.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Upper GI Endoscopy.
Ultrasonography of abdomen.
Barium studies for motility.
Continue proper medications as per necessity.
Change of lifestyle, keeping away stress and so on should help you the most.
