Suggest Remedy For Bumps On Shoulder After Insect Bite
Hi . I was bite by a horsefly or some type of insect and I had 9 large bumps on my left shoulder .. I used hydrocortisone cream and been taking benadryl .. 4 of the bumps left which I now have 5. Its not even swollen anymore .. Its just 5 dark spots .. Like bruises.. Will they go away or be here forever ?

The possible diagnosis of the condition based on the description of the lesions is papular urticaria or insect bite hypersensitivity.You should try to use mosquito nets as much as possible. Topical mild steroid cream like mometasone can be applied over the affected area. Oral antihistamines like fexofenadine may also be used after consulting your dermatologist. The patches will go away and you don't need to worry about them.Regards
