Suggest Remedy For Bruising And Lump On The Shin Post Injury

I was disconnecting a trailer from cart and it suddenly slipped and banged my shin pretty good. Then a huge lump appeared and i iced it and it has a slight yellow bruise but i typically bruise easy now i have a puprle bruise around my ankle...normal? Is it just gravity pulling fluid down? 49 yr male

Hi,

It is a post traumatic bruise and its normal to have bruise after a minor injury as the blood vessels are fragile. It doesn't seem to be a problem for now but you should keep an eye on this. In future if you notice easy bruisability with minor injury get your clotting profile done.
