Suggest Remedy For Bruise On Upper Lip

I have a bruise on my upper lip about a 1/4 x 1 . It doesn t hurt didn t hit it or anything that I know of it just appeared. Do you know what it might be? I do get cold sores but it is above my actual lips and doesn t look or feel like one. It looks like a bruise not on the lip itself on the skin above it.

Hi

The kind of lesion you have could be suggestive of an allergic reaction or it could even be an infective lesion .
It needs to be managed by either topical steroids or antibiotics according to the problem .
Keep the affected area clean and dry .
Do not apply any other cream or oil over the affected area.
See a dermatologist if the condition tends to persist .
