Suggest Remedy For Bronchitis And Pneumonia In An Elderly Person

I am 62 years old - smoked for 30 years -,quit 19 years ago. For last two years have experienced bronchitis, pneumonia and low low oxygen levels - have been in hospital for 6 days on oxygen, steroids ,nebulizer treatments. They just did ct scan - what to you think?

It is possible that you may have COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease).
This is a progressive disease that includes emphysema and chronic bronchitis.

The CT scan would show changes that may have occurred that maybe in keeping with this diagnosis.
A history of persistent productive coughing would be diagnostic of chronic bronchitis.
