Suggest Remedy For Breathing Difficulty Due To Anemia

I have uterine fibroids and I am anemic. I have been gasping for air and it feels almost like I'm suffocating at times, especially at night. The air almost even smells smoky or dirty. When I breath with my mouth open it helps a little. Do I need to go to the doctor, or just continue taking iron?

Hi thanks for contacting HCM...

Noted you have anemia ...So it can lead to dyspnea on exertion...
Continue treatment of anemia.....

But if still dyspnea present on rest then just get your physical examination...
Rhinoscopy done to look for -DNS
-Nasal polyp
-Hypertrophied turbinate
-Rhinitis (inflammatory sweeling)
Auscultation also done.If seems abnormal then PFT like further work up needed.......

Dont worry.
Take care
