Hi, I'm a 34 yr old female. I have something that appears to be a boil on my abdomen and it is on a stretch mark. I have had 3 children so I have a some pretty wide and kinda deep marks from the pregnancies. They usually haven't caused me any problems, although I do get a tiny sore on them from time to time that just go away in a couple of days. This is not the same, it's bigger like a boil, purplish color, a little tender and is red around it. I'm getting anxious that it could be a staph infection, it has been there now for 2 days and hasn't changed any. What do you suggest I do? I have been applying triple antibiotic ointment.
