I have type 2 diabetes and i have a boil on my growing area over the past few days it has grown very large but hasn t opened its mainly under the skin .its also become a little irritated from the skin rubbing against it.should i see my doctor for this and if so when?
hi, thanks for writing in to hcm. Since infections are common diabetes , kindly immediatedly consult a physician for medications like:
1.Antibiotics - Ciprofloxacin 500mg twice a day for 7 days(if not allergic to it) 2.Anti inflammatory drugs like - diclofenac 50mg once a day to reduce pain. 3. Serratiopeptidase tablet - to help in wound healing. Kindly take medications after consulting a physician.
