Suggest Remedy For Bloody Scabs In Nose

I have scabs in my nose and when I blow my nose the scabs come out and they are bloody. My nose is not stopped up. My other problem is that I have a terrible taste in my mouth all the time. No matter what I eat or drink, it is always there. Not sure if this is associated with my nose problem. Can you please give me some answers to my situation?

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Regarding your concern, I would explain that your symptoms could be related to a chronic infection in the nose.

I recommend performing a nasal discharge bacterial culture and some blood lab tests (complete blood count, PCR, iron plasma levels, vitamin B12 levels).

Consulting with a dentist may be needed in order to exclude possible dental infection too.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka
