Hi,

I am sorry for the health situation your daughter is going through.

Vomiting, cramps and loose motions are symptoms of acute gastroenteritis. If her TLC is high then, this is indicative for possible GI infection (viral or bacterial).

A further culture of stool is recommended to identify the right cause.

With regards to acute gastritis, this might be due to various factors including diet, stress or medications she might be using on regular basis or even the infection she is having currently. A further evaluation by GI specialist is advised to correctly treat it.

Periods are commonly associated with abdominal cramps and gastritis. Antiinflammatory medications like mephenamic acid can help.

Wish fast recovery!
