Suggest Remedy For Acnes

Hi, I am 20 years old and 90 pounds. I got acnes last year and have been recovering since summer. There are some painless bump on my face and I am pretty sure they are not acne, but more like nodules underneath my skin. How can I cure them since they are on my cheeks and make my face a little bit swelling look.

Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic

I would keep a possibility of Closed Comedones/White heads. They present as painless bumps, with a central umblication. They are the precursor lesions of inflammatory acne.

Treatment would be topical application of tretinoin cream (0.025% to 0.05%), once daily at night. Tretinoin is an excellent comedolytic agent.

Comedone extraction with a comedone extractor is also an option. This method is quick and effective and is performed by a dermatologist.
