Suggest Remedy For Acidity In Elderly

I am experiencing stomach aches after eating acetic foods, ice cream, or drinking wine. It intensifies during the middle of the night. My gall bladder was removed fourteen years ago and never had a problem until recently. I am seventy years old. How can I cure this?

Hi Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
You can lead a perfectly normal life without a gallbladder. You should make some small adjustments to your diet, such as
1. If you experience symptoms such as indigestion, acidity, flatulence or diarrhea avoid foods such as spicy and fatty foods(ice cream in your case).
2. Avoid drinks containing caffeine – such as coffee, tea and alcohol as well.
3. Increase intake of fibres in foods such as whole wheat, oats, raw fruits, etc

You can take omeprazole 20mg empty stomach in the morning. If problem persists, visit your physician.

Don't worry you would be fine
Hoping your query is solved.
