Suggest Remedy For Abdominal Pain While On Melmet

hello sir i am advised by the doctor to take melmet 500mg twice a day.iam having it for the last 15 days.but i felt that it creates some side effects like stomach pain,gastric problem.still iam continuing the tblt.Please help me to get rid of this problem.iam having irregular periods.

Here you are regularly taking metformin...
This drug can lead stomach pain and gastritis like condition....

Metformin used for treating diabetis ...
You have not mentioned indication...
As having irregular menstruation PCOD like condition has to be ruled out by USG. ...

Here for stomach up set you might prescribed omeprazole drug for reducing acidity ....

Cooked oatmeal will help in soothing effect ...
More water ...

Excess spicy foods avoided ...
Excess tea , coffe avoided ...
