Suggest Remedy For Abdominal Pain During Pregnancy
I am 26 weeks pregnant and was having bad upper abdominal pain for a few months and pain in my LEFT shoulder. Doctor believed it was gallbladder. After an ultrasound and being referred to a surgeon, they said there no reason to believe it s my gallbladder. It feels the best of the morning. Hurts worse and worse through the day no matter what I do or don t eat or drink. Tonight was the worst doesn t really hurt in my abdominal area just my chest and my left arm gets weak and tonight it s hurt so bad I just hold my arm. please help. My doctor says there s nothing the ER will do. I feel like I m dying.
If gallbladder is excluded, then, the pain you are having on upper abdomen radiated on left should could be due to: - stomach problems: gastritis or GERD which are often accompanying pregnancy as baby is growing and stomach is pushed by the womb. This will cause hyperacidity and reflux - uterine contractions and pressure of enlarged uterus to the organs that are located at the back of the abdomen including the neural ends of the vertebral spine
Take antacids and discuss with GI specialist to take PPIs or ranitidine or antispasmodics to ease the pain.
Good luck! Dr.Albana
