Hi, I am a 23 year old female. For the last 2 months (and also for a period of time when I was 16) I have been having constant chest and arm pain. The pain in my chest goes from a burning, to sharp pains, and sometimes just discomfort. My left arm has been very sore everyday, I have also expirienced numbess through out my entire arm and sometimes justin my left hand. This happens even when I am lying down. I went to the hospital yesterday where they did an EKG, a chest x-ray, and some blood work to check for clots. They told me everything was normal howver I am still concerned. They did not really give me and answer as to why this is happening, other than it might be a muscle issue, which is hitting a nerve cuasing the numbness. Would that cause constant chest pain as well?
