Suggest Remedy And Diet For Sclerosing Mesenteritis

Hi, I am a 39yr old female, during a visit to the ER for a UTI a CT scan was done and it showed a webbing of my small bowel mesentery. It was also I believe they said cloudy or hazy in that area. I was told I could have Sclerosing Mesenteritis. I am experiencing alot of abdominal pain and problems with bowel movements and I have like fever sweats and nausea and weigh gain instead of lose. I find that certain foods cause more abdominal issues for me. I have been tested for IBS and celiac disease and have neither. How should this disease be properly diaginosed and what are the treatments. Also what type of diet should I be following if I have this Sclerosing Mesenteritis. Thank You!

Hello,

Sclerosing mesenteritis is a very rare and sclerosing mesenteritis is lack of special clinical manifestation and typical signs, so the patients are very easy to be misdiagnosed. Sclerosing mesenteritis is a rare, benign, and chronic fibrosing inflammation disease with unknown etiology that affects the mesentery.

Sclerosing mesenteritis can be categorized into three pathological changes: chronic non-specific inflammation, fat necrosis, and fibrosis. The correct diagnosis of sclerosing mesenteritis depends on pathological examination and exploratory laparotomy.

Avoid spicy food and alcohol avoid smoking and caffeine drinks, eat soft food with plenty of fruits and vegetables. For further information please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
