Suggest Remedies For Swollen Lymph Nodes On Neck And Fever

Daughter 21 has swollen lymph glands (neck) and fever for 8 days, no sore throat. No strep, mono, all labs are normal except higher white cell count. Had spinal for meningitis, negative. Chest ct and abdomen with contrast, no other swollen lymph nodes, everything looked ok. ENT gave shot of steroid yesterday, no fever for 16 to 18 hours, fever returned this afternoon, tonight fever is 103.8. Eating ok and drinking.

I really appreciate your concern, here the chances of some infection needs to be ruled out, although it could be viral fever, as long as the infection is concern urinary tract infection need to be ruled out because it the common condition seen in female patient, and hope this information helps.
