Suggest Remedies For Swelling Inside Vagina Post Recovery From Bacterial Infection

Two weeks ago I had a yeast and bacterial infection. The medication ended a week ago. All the symptoms have gone away except there is a ridge inside my vagina that is swollen. When I try to have intercourse it rubs and is not pleasant. What should I do?

As a physician I would like to tell you that from the symptoms you are telling you might be suffering from Bartholin Cyst. They are pea sized glands on Labia minora opening in Vagina and produces mucus. They secret mucus from a tube like structure called Bartholin duct. It's blockage sometimes when infected can produce painful symptoms you are experiencing.

Thus I would suggest that you should visit your Obgy doctor as soon as possible to rule have a physical examination done and to establish a diagnosis of your symptoms.
