Suggest Remedies For Sore, Pus Filled Blisters On The Arms
Hi I got the implant in my arm 3 days ago and it has become very sore and blistered, the blisters have now popped but the puss coming out of it is yellow and it becomes very sticky which makes the bandage stick to the wounded area and then rip the skin when I try to take it off. I don t know if this is normal but it is very sore and painful, and it itches quite a lot. I ve been told to take the bandage off and let it get some air but I don t feel comfortable doing that as my cat sleeps in my room and I don t want to get any hairs or feels in the area. Any advice? Thanks.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM I have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely wound infection with anaerobic bacteria. Using powdered metronidazole tablets for local application will be helpful. You can use saline to wash and clean the wound. If not improving then oral antibiotic therapy will be required. If you send a picture of the wound then it will be more helpful. Thanks
