General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Infusion therapy involves the administration of medication through a needle or catheter.
Flushing, headache, dizziness, chills, muscle cramps, joint pain, fever, nausea, or vomiting may occur as side effects in general.
Pain, redness and swelling at the injection site may also occur.
Some of side effects what you have been experiencing should subside in a day or two and can be managed with symptomatic treatment with intake of analgesics.
Kindly seek medical attention if it continues and becomes bothersome.
Hope the information provided helps.
All the best.
Regards,
Dr.Ashakiran.S.,
