Hi,

Since you are having difficulty in breathing with severe pain, you are suggested to get physically examined. Get X-ray, CT done. The severe pain can be due to fractured rib, costochondritis, lung injuries can make you feel the pain when you breath in & out, COPD, bronchitis, pneumonia, tuberculosis, etc.

Take Acetaminophen (Tylenol), Ibuprofen (Advil) for relief from pain. Stay in bed rest, do not strain unnecessarily. Get evaluated & treated at the earliest.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K
