Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
Your child is 4.5 year old and is getting recurrent episodes of fever, cold and cough, this could be due to low immunity in child or allergic rhinitis.
In allergic rhinitis, child gets repeated episodes of cough and cold when exposed to allergens like dust, pollens.
In low immunity, child gets recurrent infections of chest and abdomen mainly.
In my opinion, you should do Igm and absolute eosinophil count in child. This will help in confirmation of diagnosis.
Further treatment will depend on above reports.
Wishing your child good health.
Take care.
